In Amsterdam, trams runs all around the city.so we can enjoy sightseeing while moving.
Dutch people are so friendly. For example,A woman talked to me while waiting a tram.
And,Dutch average height is tallest in the world! So my legs can't reach on the floor.
I got out the tram, and headed for TIME&STYLE.
The building was designated as a protected historical building of the Netherland.
It was so dignity.And I couldn't enter.
Then, the man who was setting the banner frag came up to me.
I was relieved to hear his Japanese.
Japanese products were displayed in the room of medieval Europe.
At the booth of "Fukumono shop"
They recommend products that are adjust Japanese traditional techniques to modern lifestyles.
For example,This hunting cap and scarf were improved the technique of "Kurume Kasuri".
Kurume Kasuri is one of the three major Kasuri in Japan. Its charactaristics are breathable and keeping warm.
Based on that, additionally, the craftsmen weave with air.So it is so fluffy.
About colors, first, they dye ultra fine yarns. Then, they twist the yarns. So it is hard to lose color.
And, we can wash it as we want!
These are "MONO" that was made very carefully and functionally.
"This cap must suit me better than him who has flat face!"
(…We didn't know whether the man thought that.)
There were a lot of person who liked it and bought.
The more they wash, the more the product fit their skin.
It is not just getting older. We can feel memories engraved.
So,I think, it touched Dutch heart.Because they cherish all their things.
Even though we have a different culture and language,
We can understand each other if we cherish the same values.
The next post is the story of "EN TEA".He told me "Umami" of tea.
