皆さま今年の新茶、飲まれましたか?
4月末に長崎県東そのぎ町、大山製茶園さんの畑へ茶摘みに行きました。
全国茶品評会で日本一を獲得するほどの美味しさです。
The tea farm is in the mountains with the view of Omura bay.Sometimes we can find pheasants walking around there.
The tea leaves that we harvest this
time are for the competition.
We pick up "the top two leaves and a bud" of the tea plant.
This part contain Amino acids a lot,
Amimo acids are source of good taste"Umami"
The"Umami" of this tea is popular overseas.
One picking is 0.2g.
Our goal was to harvest 40kg.
So nearly a hundred people picked 
up one after another,listening to Uguisu singing.
Sometimes We concentrated picking,and Sometimes took a break while chatting.
So We worked together for a long time,Strangely,we felt a sense of unity.
And I found their feeling "We like these teas so much and we want to join the tea harvest."
At the shop"CHARAKU",I saw a woman who bought teas a lot.She said"I can't drink other teas since I had drunk these teas."
And at the annual exhibition in Netherland,there is a man who visit the booth every years.
Mr.Ooyama is committed to grow very much.I asked him "Why do you commit like that?"
He said "There are many people who need our teas."
I thought this spirit is the reason that these teas are loved by people all of the world.
